Filed under: Uncategorized — Carolyn Bennie @ 8:05 pm

Hi Everyone,

This is a bit of a special time of the year for me as far as Stampin’ Up! goes… I attended my very first workshop during last years Sale-A-Bration. A lot of the other ladies that attended that workshop were regular customers of my (now) upline and boy, were they ever excited about Sale-A-Bration. Now I’m the same.

So here’s the deal:

Customers: Receive a FREE Sale-A-Bration product for every $100 purchase (no limit!).

Hostesses: Receive a free Sale-A-Bration product with a $600 or more workshop, in addition to the regular hostess benefits.

Recruits: Choose any retail stamp set (a value up to $79.95) from the current catalogue when signing up during the promotion.

Take the time to click on this link to see the Sale-A-Bration stamp sets .. they’re really nice. I’ve got my eye on the first set – Happy Moments. Hmmm………

While I might not be able to book any workshops in the next few weeks (baby due any tick of the clock) – keep in mind you can ‘host’ a catalogue party (where you just organise gathering orders from your friends) and still reap all of the regular Hostess Rewards PLUS the Sale-A-Bration rewards too.

2,4,6,8 Gift Box for baby February 5, 2010

Filed under: Uncategorized — Carolyn Bennie @ 7:36 pm

I have a workshop tomorrow with some lovely ladies in Littlehampton and I was practicing making a 3d item to demonstrate. I found this one on line and have cased it a bit and then put in a few of my own ideas as well. I’m so happy with the end result …. If you would like to learn how to make one of these or receive one as a hostess gift from me – contact me to book your very own workshop.

In the USA they call these 2,4,6, 8 boxes because the folds are every 2 inches. I’ve altered the size to fit one full piece of A4 paper but measuring the folds at 7cm…… so in Australia we would call this the 7, 14,21,28 box…. maybe not as catchy? LOL.

Stamp Set : Lovely Labels – I’ve used the ‘rock n’ roll’ technique to get the blue with chocolate boarder. Sprinkles.

Ink: Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze.

Card Stock: Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla and DSP Good Morning Sunshine.

Accessories and tools:  Dimensionals, Double-Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon in Baja Breeze. Vintage brads. Scallop circle punch, Round 3.5 circle punch & Scallop edge punch.

I’m 38 weeks pregnant now… so maybe my next post will be with my very own baby news!!  Until then I’ll be sending this little gift box with gift to a lovely lady who’s just had her first baby – a little boy called Dylan. Congrats Wendy!!

Loads of Love – male card November 18, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — Carolyn Bennie @ 4:07 pm

It’s my Dad’s birthday on Friday, so I’ve made this little card for him ….. he’s got a little ute/small truck but I must admit of used a bit of artistic license on the colour and style of the ute in my card…it doesn’t match his ute at all.

Stamp set : Loads of Love

Ink: Chocolate Chip, Baja Blue, So Saffron,

Card Stock: Chocolate Chip Brocade Blue, Whisper White.

Tools: paper piercer, Aqua Painters, Brads & twine.

I’ve water coloured the ute/truck and used a grey pencil to outline it to give a bit of depth. The Bracade Blue cs has been sponged.

Hope you like it!! (and you to Dad) xx

    • find some inspiration in an Ideas Book and Catalogue?? or;
    • if you would like to get a group of friends together and have a Christmas Card making workshop – maybe we could make a stack of simple Christmas cards?
    • want to purchase some fantastic cardmaking or scrapbooking gifts (and receive a FREE square scallop punch with purchases of $80 or more from the latest Christmas Gift Giving Guide).

    Email or call me NOW!!!

Bella Rose – Scallop edge daisies November 2, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — Carolyn Bennie @ 3:33 pm

    scallop edge daisies Hi All,

Well, blogging has been as slow as my card making I’m afraid. It seems my pregnancy tiredness has squeezed out the last few bits of energy I had … the bit I saved for ‘me time’ eg card making.

This is a little card I made for a friend of mine who’s birthday I was so slow on making a card for – I ended up just gave up with the birthday greeting and went the ‘thinking of you’ version instead.

I’ve used the Bella Rose DS paper and scallop punch to make the daisies.. then just cutting into them with craft scissors and added a brad in the center.  A little bit of ink sponging and layering of Very Vanilla & Chocolate Chip card stock – to add a bit of depth and interest.

Email me if wish to buy any of the products I’ve used to make this card.. or if you would like to buy one of the Idea book and Catalogue.
