Macauley’s Rocket Birthday Card May 31, 2009

This is my little boy Macauley’s 2nd birthday card. I’ve gotten a bit carried away and used three different stamp sets. I’m actually a bit happy with the end result… what do you think?

Stamp Sets: Fun Pun, Circle Circus, Fun & Fast Notes (only using the sentiment from the cake stamp). 

Ink: Taken with Teal, Basic Black.

Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Whisper White, Taken with Teal and Patterns Designer Serious Paper in Pacific Point. 

Accessories: Grosgrain Ribbon in Real Red.

Techniques: Water colour pencils & aqua painter for water colour effect on the rocket. The rocket is double stamped and mounted one on top each other with dimentionals to give the picture depth. The Taken with Teal background card stock and behind the moon has been sponged in Taken with Teal ink.
