Now this just goes to show how versatile the Big Shot really is. I made this card using craft metal and running it through the Big Shot in the Stampin’ Up! Vintage Wall Paper embossing folder. Yeehaaa!! How much fun was that!? I loved the effect – and it teamed up so wonderfully with my ‘grey’ elephant stamp from the ’ Under the Big Top’ Stamp set.. giving me a great excuse to watercolour (I don’t need too many excuses for this as it’s my favourite medium to work in).
Cherry Cobbler and Chocolate Chip cardstock work really well with the silver of the metal as well. What do you think??
This card went to my dear friend and dowline Lynne Jones, who promoted to a Supervisor last month. Go Lynne. xx
Happy Stamping,
x Carolyn

About Carolyn Bennie
My name is Carolyn Bennie. I live in the Adelaide Hills with my wonderful husband Chris and my two beautiful boys, Finn (4) and Macauley (2).
The first time I saw Stampin' Up I was hooked!!! I made one card and then I joined up as a demonstrator. Why? Well, I've been looking for a hobby for many years and this is the first one that ticks all the boxes - creative, artful, able to start and complete my project in one sitting (with two preschool children - essential!) and I can fund my hobby by sharing it with others. I've also discovered something very unexpected.... the joy of sitting with a group of women and doing craft together... just like women have done since the dawn of time and somehow, we've lost track this pure pleasure.
I hope you enjoy my blog and my adventures in exploring my new hobby.
Thanks Carolyn for your lovely card and your continual support.
Many thanks also for the stunning roses you gave me from your beautiful garden.
