One of the great things about being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is that you’re invited to join online forums with other Demonstrators where we talk about stamping, business and all sorts of other things. My adopted upline Alisa Tilsner runs a forum in which we demonstrators are invited to participate in a Cyber Challenge. A Cyber Challange is where we need to make a card based on a task or technique and we all get on line at the same time and try and make it and then post it on our blogs. The last one was for the faux suede technique…. well this is my version….. it’s about three weeks late completed (I do have a 1 month old baby!!! hehe – so forgive me my lateness!!).
To be honest… I’m not really loving the card I’ve made (you don’t win them all. What do you think?) – the faux suede technique is good fun however and I’ll be trying that one again. It’s very simple… all you need to do is get some card stock (cs) and your bone folder. Drag the cs between your tumb and the bone folder until the sections of the cs begin to separate. When the sections come apart all together you’ll find the inside of the cs has this lovely textured look. Give it a go!
