I’m really lucky to share my experiences at Stampin’ Up! Convention with some beautiful friends and this year I wanted to make them something really special to keep in their craft rooms even after Convention was over. I’ve made some little rag dolls before for gifts before – so I thought this would be fun for my Convention buddies.
Would you like to see them??
I made each of them as a bit of a reflection of each of the real life girls with their hair colour and coloured stockings that I thought suited them best. … of course I also made one for me too. 🙂
Meet the Stampin’ Up! Dolls….
Here is poor ‘Alisa’ on getting her legs sewn on. Don’t worry, she didn’t scream too much 😉
A NUMBER of nights later sewing (I’m not a fast sewer)…..
Meet Miss Alisa…
The whole bunch.
I’ve used Stampin’ UP! Designer Series fabric for their legs/stockings and stamped with White Stayz On on the apron.
Here are a couple of fun picks of Miss Carolyn on her way to Convention and out and about. (You have to have a bit of fun in life right??!!)
Here we are at the Adelaide Airport – Miss Carolyn is about to stowaway in my handbag.
A quick cuppa before the first morning of Convention with roomies Miss Alisa an Miss Angela….
The first session is about to start!!!! Miss Carolyn is excited!!
