Prepare to Sparkle!!!! 24th of November – Book now!

Put your sunnies on! I’ve just finished two of my Glitter Class cards for the 24th of this month and I had to share… they are super sparkly.  What do you think?? I’m SOOOOO excited!!!

I’ve based this one on a card that was demonstrated at this years Stampin’ Up! Convention….. but with a little stamp set sneak peak from the new Summer Mini Catalogue that starts next month!!

This one is a bit of a change of pace… but oh so yummy and even more sparkly in person.

As for the third card….. you’ll just have to wait and see!! I’m afraid the sicky kidlets this week have slowed me down…. but I can tell you – it’s VERY different and exciting!

Book in ASAP so I can make sure I’ve ordered enough supplies…. be prepared to SPARKLE!

Scrapping Sunday

It’s a rainy and cold day here in Balhannah today. We have the fire on and I’m enjoying the company of my Mum who has been staying with us for a couple of weeks after looking after my oldest boys when I went to Convention. I love my Mum and I’m going to be super sad and a bit low tomorrow when she’s gone home. 😦

Here’s another layout from my Mum’s 70th album. This one is me as a baby with Mum and the other page is my little family now. I just love Elements of Style stamp set. Some of my favourite colours are Crumb cake and Baja Breeze….. so this layout was just so very me.

Slider Card – Elements of Style

Hi Everyone,

Today is the very last day of the school holidays. 😦 My teacher hubby has already been back at school last week in ‘teacher prep’ week and my oldest son Finn is excited about starting year 1 tomorrow and seeing his buddies again. Macauley, Archer and I will be keeping the home fires burning (actually it’s meant to be 42 degrees tomorrow – so maybe I should say keep the home air-conditioner cranking!!) but all of this means back to routine and that’s not such a bad thing. We’ve had a great holidays though.

I was having a play with one of Makeesha Byl’s tutorials for a slider card and this is my version. I’ve changed it up just a bit using the beautiful Every Moment Stamp Set with the addition of clear embossing and some water colouring. I’ve also used my trusty Top Note Dies from with the Big Shot. Love that Top Note Die – so versatile.

Do you see the lace bow?? That’s from the Summer Mini catalogue and I LOVE it. Just love vintage (if you haven’t noticed 😉 …….. Remember you can order products out of the Summer mini and if you spend $100 on product you can also get your Sale-A-Bration free stamp set.  My free set is on it’s way as we speak – so hopefully I’ll have you something to show you real soon.

Happy Stamping,

Carolyn xx
