Photopolymer Stamps (completely clear stamps) now available

demoheader_photopolymer_demo_5-1-2014_sp8ff411583795661a8962ff0000f7f0e6

Stampin’ Up! searched long and hard for just the right material to be able to introduce completely clear stamping. They’ve found it! I’m excited to announce that with the release of the upcoming 2014-2015 Annual Catalogue, will have wood-mount, clear-mount AND photopolymer stamps. Our top-quality photopolymer stamps stick extremely well on our acrylic blocks, are durable, and the transparent nature of these sets makes it easier to line up your images without the need of a guide. This is a feature that is particularly helpful with alphabets, borders, and backgrounds! Photopolymer is clearly a great choice.

Will you want to wait until the catalogue comes out to try this great new product? Of course not! So, beginning 1 May, Stampin’ Up! are introducing two exclusive photopolymer stamp sets: Show & Tell 1, and Show & Tell 2.

These great new photopolymer sets are designed to be used together. Even better, you can order both sets in a bundle that comes with an amazing online class-featuring tons of great project ideas using Show & Tell 1 and 2.

Card in a box – are you on trend or like me?

Are you the sort of person that has to follow the latest trend? Did you buy bubblegum jeans or hypercolour t-shirts 5 mins after they arrived on the shop? You’re always so cool and on-trend, right? OR are you like me and fight the good fight about NOT being a conformist …….but then end up joining in anyways…. usually when the trend is on the way out?  Yep that’s usually me – but not any more!!!!! Today I’m bringing you the latest trend in the paper craft world now – when it’s HOT – that’s right -Card in a box. IMG_5120So how cute? It folds down for easy postage and then pops up and reveals something really special.

Next time I’ll make sure the sentiment is a little smaller so it doesn’t hang over the edge when folded.

Here’s a few of the items I used to make this little cutie:

Stamp Set:

Flower Shop # 130939 Wood mount #130942 Clear mount

Happy Congratulations # 133044 Wood mount #133047 Clear mount

Card Stock: Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper (free with purchase of $90 or more) #133521  Sweet Sorbet

Email if you have any questions about any other items used 🙂

I was thinking this was going to be a really challenging card to make but guess what? Easypeasy. I followed this tutorial from UK Demonstrator Monica Gale who is simply amazing and an all round sweet heart. (If you’re not following her blog you totally should.) Here we are at last years Stampin’ Up! Grand Vacation in Utah showing the love.

So this card is actually for my beautiful niece Courtney and her wonderful new fiancée Michael who are starting out their lives together and who got engaged on New Years eve. I wanted to make her something special and therefore this card has taken a little longer then expected (*yikes*) but it is now on it’s way to her in the mail – along with a little gift. 😉 Congratulations Hon!!

Remember it’s Sale-A-Bration time.. any order of $90 or more will earn you a FREE product from the exclusive Sale-A-Bration range. You can either order by emailing me or just head on over to my online store and order there.

Color Me Christmas – Stampin’ Up! Christmas Cards for kids

IMG_4488

My 6 and 9 year old sons wanted to give Christmas cards this year to their school friends. Now I know from experience that kids usually get a Chrissy card, rip open the envelope and throw it in their backpacks never to be seen again. With this in mind I knew I need to do something a little bit different.

The Color Me Christmas Stampin’ Up! Stamp Set – wood mount #131742 $35.95 & clear mount #131745 $28.95 is a great one – well worth buying now ready for next years kids cards. I bought the little coloured pencil sets from a cheapy shop and used the great value Seasons of Style paper stacks #132181 for colour and some spotty fun.

Tip: Why not use clear envelopes (#102619 $8.95 for 50)? Shows off your special card keeping it protected and glossy. This way the card may even survive the backpack journey home. 😉

Now the kids will have a fun project to colour and pop on the mantle at home.

Of course my boys didn’t get away with me doing all the work – they each had to write the names and ‘love from’ bits themselves. They enjoy being ‘Stamping Boys’.

Remember the Blitz continues… new products are being added all the time so make sure you check back.ecard_ClearanceRackBlitz_EN
